After the success of the Guan Yu Gundam, it is time to do some airbrushing for a Master Grade kit.
I already primed the external armor pieces using Bosny Grey Primer (no pictures). The internal skeleton was primed with Black acrylic paint.
Here are verniers, painted with Acrylic Chrome silver.
These were the external armor pieces painted with White...
...Blue
and red.
This was one of the internal skeletons - Leg frame. primed with Black.
The weather suddenly changed so I had to stop for a while. The original plan was to apply a Gun Metal paint here.
One week later... the weather was perfect for airbrushing.. I started masking all the parts that will not be painted...
Using a handful of Blu Tack and masking tape,...
...this was the front chest piece.. the little V design will be painted in yellow.
One hour later, the painting session was completed.
Those round cylinders were painted using Gun Metal....
...same with these parts...
Here's the front armor chest., painted in yellow.. hopefully it was a clean job...
You can also see the leg frame I mentioned before. It was finally painted in Gun Metal.... nice!
I checked the painted pieces after unmasking and to my surprise, almost all were painted perfectly except for the yellow V in this chest armor. A little yellow-paint managed to bleed...
The rest were perfectly done!
Blu tack and Masking tape.
Assembly...before detailing...
To add a little detail on the verniers, I applied a small amount of Enamel Red....
...just like this one....
and onto other verniers..
Ready for a Gloss Coat!
Decals at night, panel lines and finishing coat on the following day...
Just like this one...
That's it for now. Thank you for viewing.
